We are a Bible-based church that stresses God's plan of salvation in Jesus Christ and in the possibilities found in Jesus' name. We want to see individuals become spiritually mature people who can bring God's wisdom to bear on all aspects of their lives and reach out in his name to their families, friends, and community. We are affiliated with the LCMS, which means that we emphasize God's life-changing offer of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God, and we desire to see people find life, hope, and purpose in Christ.
Pastor Steve Shrum
Pastor Steve Shrum was installed as our pastor in December 2021. He joined our congregation after serving St. Mark Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Ohio as lead pastor for 11 years. Pastor Steve works intentionally to encourage our congregation to never stop learning in Christ.
On Sundays you can hear his inspirational sermons prompting his congregation to go-forth and be the church in our communities. But before you hear his sermons, you’ll hear him, along with our worship team, playing contemporary Christian songs on his guitar.
